Rev. Showalter,

As you can see from my posts I have been healing over the past years from my husband being unfaithful.

I have a questions for you. As a minister, I'm sure you see many couples struggling with this issue. Over a period of time how many couples actually make it? How many Spouses even after counseling continue/or cheat again? I know you probably don't keep records but a guess would be nice.

I really think We will make it. Even after 3 years, I continue to have days that I wish I would have left (only because the act is totally wrong).

But another question --- How many couples describe a loss of "a feeling" and they can't get it back. I totally don't feel the same about my husband. He was everything to me. I did so much for him and the family. We walked hand and hand when going places. We were the couple that everyone said "Wow they really get along". My friend even said to me one time that We have something that she wished she had in a marriage. I still really don't have a clue of what when wrong. The only reason I have came up with was that We did have no sex due to my illness (only for two months). Then temptation was put on him strong and he let it happen.

Thanks for listening
