You raise a good question. You may be interested to know however, that as web master of this site, I have received private email messages from people seeking help, who are consumed with guilt for having betrayed their marriage partners.
Perhaps they do not use the public Message Board because they fear being shunned, and their guilt is already a heavy enough load to bear.
This isn't the only answer to your question. But I suspect it is one of the answers.
In fact, I prefer that people do use the Message Board, because my time to make responses is limited, and because it allows other people to make helpful responses and/or gain insights from the life situations of others.
