Why does the scripture seemingly elevate our responsibilty to forgive above that of Jesus'?
(i.e.Our forgiveness is not predicated on the repentance of the injurer)
To my knowlege, Jesus provides forgiveness but still holds sin to our charge until repentance.
If our model is Christ likeness and we don't see Christ forgiving the wrongs of all men where is the model?
I'm sure there is a fundamental principle that I am missing.
