I have read and re-read your comments re: The other woman and they have helped me. Thank you. I do encounter this woman frequently as well as her teen daughter. I great them both kindly. The snarl and glare at me. With the help of Doug and others on this message board, I have learned to stay away from her and her family unless we have a chance encounter. Someone is sending her mail. I'm not exactely sure what is in it but apparently it is about how wonderful I am and how horrible she is. I'm not sending it. I truly wanted to come to peace with her. One week ago, I really thought I had come to peace with her and realized she would never be civil toward me and it was her problem not mine. I came to terms with it. Then, I came home to a notice from the police that she had filed stalking charges against me. I'm to be arrested today and will have to hire an attorney to help me.
I am blessed to have my priest, my therapist and many friends support me. This woman is very manipulative and she has somehow convinced a small number of people that I'm the bad guy in all of this.
Thanks for letting me vent. Thanks to all of you that share your stories. They give me strength and support. Please keep me in your prayers.
