God is our tower of refuge and strength... May you find this true in your time of despair! In the book of Hosea, the prophet tells of his own treacherous testimony of an adulterous wife. So why did Hosea start with his own personal life? To relate it to another, more tragic love story: the painful love of God for his own people. Think about the numerous times we've "cheated" on God; it makes me grateful that we have a God of mercy and grace! God knows how you feel; many times the Bible talks about the jealousy and fury of a heartbroken God! so when you pray to him, be assured that God completely understands your pain. God never allows anything to happen that we cannot pull through with Him by our side. Allow this situation to be a time to strengthen your faith in Him. Take care and God bless.
