It is a real stretch to say that men who feel loved, desired and appreciated don't cheat. No man feels loved and appreciated every day of his life. No woman does either. Marriages go thru hard times. That is no excuse for becoming an adultress. You could be a friend. You could be a confidant. You don't need to have sex with a married man. The pain that woman like you cause to a family is, I fear, beyond your understanding. There is no real explanation as to why these things happen except the right combination presents itself. Unhappiness and a woman like you meet and lives are destroyed. Adultry never solved any problem within a marriage and it ended many that could have been saved with communication and love. You need to accept your part in the destruction and not see yourself as the salvation of some "poor mistreated man". The truth is much different.
